Shardfall guide
Gold, stardust, Starsteel
Everything in Shardfall's economy is earned by playing. Money never buys stardust, a forge, the odds or anything random.
Gold
Paid by every wave and boss. Spent on your weapons' levels, talent ranks, the merchants you meet in a run, crafting and Tempering your gear sockets.
Stardust
Paid by waves, quests, deeds and first clears. Spent at the Starforge, 100 a forge. Stardust is earned, never sold.
StarsteelA sliver of the fallen star. Bosses on Hard and up drop it, elites sometimes. It buys only sure things: crafting, raising an item's rarity, Starforging, constellations and a Mythic's ranks. It never buys a roll.
Experience
Raises your Warden's level, up to 60, and then star levels without end. Each level gives a talent point; levels open relic slots, gear slots and talent rows.
Free forges
2 a day, banked up to 10, and more from deeds, quests and the spoils after a run.
Rested
Each day brings rested waves that pay more, so a short visit still counts.
